New Features in Analytify Pro 6.0
Analytify Pro 6.0 introduces a range of powerful new features designed to enhance website tracking, provide deeper insights, and optimize user experience.
Let’s see what these features are!
1. Paid Add-ons Merged into Analytify Pro
One of the major updates in Analytify 6.0 is the integration of paid add-ons i.e. Campaigns, Authors, Easy Digital Downloads (EDD), and WooCommerce directly into Analytify Pro as modules. Now, you can easily activate or deactivate these add-ons from the Add-ons page in the plugin settings, providing greater flexibility and ease of use.
2. New Dashboard for Video Tracking
In the Conversions tab, we’ve added a dedicated new dashboard specifically designed to help you track and analyze video performance on your site. This new feature allows you to gain insights into how users engage with your video content, helping you optimize your video strategy and boost conversions. Whether you’re using videos for product demos, tutorials, or promotional content, this update will help you track the success of your videos more effectively.
Key Features in the Video Tracking Report
- Title and Action Tracking:
- Each video is listed by title and associated action. For example (if you the above report), videos like “Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody” are tracked by actions such as play, pause, and ended. This helps you understand not only what content users are engaging with but also their interaction patterns (e.g., how often a video is paused, played, or finished).
- Provider Tracking:
- The dashboard shows which provider the videos are hosted on, such as YouTube, Vimeo, or HTML5. This is useful for understanding which video platforms are most popular with your audience, and you can focus on optimizing videos hosted on the most used platforms.
- Duration and Event Count:
- For each video, the duration (in seconds) and event count (the number of times a particular action is performed) are displayed. For example, the “Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody” video has a total of 360 seconds duration, and various actions like play and pause are tracked across multiple events. This metric provides insights into user behavior and engagement during the video viewing experience.
- Detailed Engagement Metrics:
- The dashboard tracks various engagement actions such as progress percentages (e.g., progress_50% and progress_75%) to understand how far users are getting into videos. Tracking this helps measure user retention and content effectiveness. For example, in videos hosted on Vimeo, it’s noted when users reach 25%, 50%, or 75% of the video.
- Integration Across Platforms:
- The integration with multiple video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, HTML5) allows you to track the performance of videos across different sources in a single view. You can easily compare how videos hosted on different platforms are performing and identify trends or preferences.
This new dashboard feature allows Analytify users to monitor video performance in great detail and optimize their content strategies based on real-time user behavior. It is an excellent tool for businesses and content creators aiming to improve their video engagement metrics, maximize content effectiveness, and improve user retention.
3. Google PageSpeed Insights Dashboard
Website performance is a critical factor for both user satisfaction and SEO, which is why we’ve introduced the Google PageSpeed Insights Dashboard in the Acquisitions tab. Now, you can directly analyze your website’s performance and speed without leaving the Analytify interface.
This integration offers a comprehensive view of key performance metrics, helping you identify areas of improvement to boost your website’s load times.
Here’s what you can expect to see and how it enhances your ability to optimize their site:
Key Features in the PageSpeed Insights Dashboard
- Performance Score:
- You’ll see an overall performance score that reflects how fast your website is. This score, based on core web vitals, helps you understand whether your website is performing well or needs optimization.
- Detailed Metrics:
- The dashboard displays several key performance metrics, such as:
- Server Response Time: You can see how quickly your server responds to requests, which is essential for improving load speed.
- First Contentful Paint (FCP): This tells you how quickly the first piece of content appears on the page, indicating how soon visitors see something on the screen.
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): This shows when the largest visible element (like an image or text block) becomes visible, impacting how users perceive your page load time.
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): This tracks any unexpected shifts in the layout as your page loads, contributing to the visual stability of your site.
- Total Blocking Time (TBT): This metric shows how much time your page was delayed from being interactive, helping identify potential blocks in page interactivity.
- The dashboard displays several key performance metrics, such as:
- Actionable Improvement Suggestions:
- You’ll get specific recommendations on how to improve your site’s performance. For example, you’ll see suggestions like:
- Deferring offscreen images to speed up page loading times.
- Minimizing unused JavaScript to improve load times.
- Properly sizing images to avoid unnecessary loading time.
- These easy-to-follow recommendations help you make data-driven decisions for improving your website’s speed.
- You’ll get specific recommendations on how to improve your site’s performance. For example, you’ll see suggestions like:
- Audit Results:
- The dashboard includes a list of passed audits, showing where your website is already optimized, like minified JavaScript, optimized images, and mobile-friendly design.
- This gives you confidence that your site follows best practices, allowing you to focus on areas that still need improvement.
- Optimize Viewport for Mobile (Passed Audit):
In the passed audit, you can see the “Optimize viewport for mobile” audit, which indicates that your website is correctly configured for mobile devices. This means that your website is responsive and adapts properly to different screen sizes, ensuring a smooth user experience on smartphones and tablets. Specifically, it confirms that your site includes the viewport meta tag, which instructs browsers to scale and adjust the page layout to fit the width of the device screen.
Why is this Important?
Mobile-Friendly Design: It ensures your website is easily readable and navigable without requiring zooming or horizontal scrolling on mobile devices.
SEO Benefit: Since Google uses mobile-first indexing, a mobile-optimized site is crucial for good search engine rankings.
Improved User Experience: Mobile optimization enhances the overall usability of your website for mobile users, reducing bounce rates and increasing engagement.
With the Google PageSpeed Insights integration in Analytify 6.0, you can access all this valuable performance data in one place. By using these insights, you can enhance your website’s speed, improve the user experience, and boost your SEO rankings.
4. User Interests Stats in Demographics Dashboard
Understanding your audience’s interests is crucial for developing effective marketing strategies. In Analytify 6.0, we’ve expanded the Demographics Dashboard to include User Interests Stats. This feature gives you deeper insights into your audience’s interests, helping you understand what drives their behavior on your website. By tracking these interests, you can customize your content and products to better match what your audience is looking for, improving user engagement and conversion rates. This valuable data will help you better target your audience and enhance your overall marketing efforts.
5. Conversion Rate Stat in WooCommerce and EDD Dashboards
To help you assess the effectiveness of your online store, we’ve added a Conversion Rate stat in both the WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) dashboards. This feature provides you with a quick overview of how well your products are converting, so you can make informed decisions on what needs to be optimized to boost sales and performance.
6. New Customers Stat in WooCommerce and EDD Dashboards
We’ve also introduced a New Customers stat in the WooCommerce and EDD dashboards, enabling you to track and analyze new customers on your site. Understanding the behavior of first-time purchasers can help you tailor marketing efforts to convert them into repeat customers and build a loyal customer base.
7. New Filter to Hide Navigation Tabs
A new filter has been introduced to give you more control over the Analytify dashboard. With the new analytify_filter_navigation_items filter, you can now hide specific navigation tabs, i.e. Conversions, Audience, and Realtime tab from the dashboard, providing a more customized and streamlined interface according to your needs.
8. Customizable Email Message for Reports
For users who wish to personalize their email reports, Analytify 6.0 introduces a new filter called analytify_custom_email_message, allowing you to customize the introduction message in the Analytify email reports. This helps ensure that the email content aligns with your brand’s tone and messaging.
