However, how do you track and understand your website’s performance while enhancing its loading speed? Here is where the Analytify AMP Addon comes into play. Google AMP Add-on Features

  • AMP Add-on Stops Double-tracking
By default, when a visitor lands on an AMP page and then visits the regular website page, AMP analytics count these visits as two sessions. The Analytify Google AMP addon fixes this issue, counting these visits as a single session.
  • Easily Integrate GA4 Tracking Code
This addon allows you to integrate your GA4 tracking code into your AMP pages seamlessly. You just need to activate this Addon, and the analytics will be automatically added to your AMP pages.

How to Activate AMP Addon

Follow these steps to turn on the Analytify AMP Addon:

  1.  Go to Analytify and click on Add-ons.
  2. Go to Add-ons, find the AMP Addon, and turn it on. GA4 tracking will be added to your AMP pages on its own. Follow the bellow screenshot:

How to Track AMP Pages Data in Google Analytics 4(GA4)

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) has different sections where you can find the data from your AMP pages.

Here’s how to find your way to these sections:

  1. Go to Google Analytics and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the GA4 property that is tracking your AMP sites.
  3. You’ll see a navigation menu on the left side of the GA4 interface.
  4. Navigate to Engagement>>Pages and screens
  5. At the top of the Pages and Screens page is a search bar. Type amp into the search bar and press Enter button.

By searching for amp in the report, you can sort the pages so that you only see the data for the AMP sites.

Note: This method assumes you have successfully integrated your GA4 account with the WordPress site using Analytify. And also that you have activated the Amp addon from Analytify’s Pro plan. Otherwise, without Analytify and the AMP addon, you would require to put the right tracking codes on your AMP pages so that GA4 can collect data.

There you can see info that is specific to your AMP pages. Check the list of the pages on your website that people visit the most. Look at the below screenshot:
