How to Setup Email Notifications Addon — Documentation page title
The Email Notifications add-on for Analytify sends your website analytics reports directly to your inbox on a weekly or monthly schedule. You get the data you need without logging into your WordPress dashboard or Google Analytics account every time.
This guide walks you through activating the add-on and configuring your first email report.
Before You Begin
Make sure both of these are in place before starting:
In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Analytify >> Add-ons from the left sidebar.
Select Add-ons tab
Find the Email Notifications card and click Activate add-on.
Once activated, the button changes to Deactivate add-on. The add-on is now running.
Email Notifications – Analytify
No zip file download or plugin upload is required. The Email Notifications add-on is bundled inside Analytify Pro and activated directly from this page.
Step 2: Configure Your Email Notifications
Go to Analytify >> Settings and click the Email tab.
Set Up Analytify Email Analytics Reports
Here you will set up three things: who sends the report, who receives it, and how often it goes out.
Sender details — enter the name and email address the report will be sent from.
Schedule — choose between weekly or monthly delivery.
Step 3: Choose Your Report Metrics
Below the sender and receiver fields, you will see a list of metrics you can include in each email report. Enable the ones that are relevant to your site.
Choose the metrics you want in your Analytics Report in the scheduled email
The metrics available include:
General Statistics — sessions, users, average time on site, bounce rate, and other core traffic metrics
Top Pages — your most visited pages ranked by traffic volume
Geographic Stats — where in the world your visitors are coming from
Social Media Stats — which social platforms are driving traffic to your site
Keywords Statistics — search terms bringing visitors to your site
Select the metrics you want included, then click Save Changes.
Step 4: Send a Test Email
Before your first scheduled report goes out, use the Test Email feature to confirm everything is working correctly.
This lets you preview exactly how the email will look in your inbox, formatting, metrics, links, and layout before it reaches your recipients.
To send a test, click the Test Email button on the same settings page and check the inbox of your receiver email address.
