Microsoft Pixel Tracking feature lets you integrate your Microsoft Ads UET (Universal Event Tracking) tag without manual coding.
This Microsoft Ads Tracking setup enables you to track visitor behavior and measure the ROI of your Microsoft Advertising campaigns directly from your WordPress site.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to set up Microsoft pixel tracking using Analytify.
Microsoft Pixel Tracking (TOC):
Step 1: Find Your Microsoft Ads UET Tag ID
Before connecting to Analytify, you must retrieve your Tag ID from the Microsoft Advertising dashboard for Microsoft Pixel Tracking.
- Log in to Microsoft Advertising.
- Navigate to Tools >> Conversion >> UET tags.

- Locate your Tag ID in the table next to your tag name. If you haven’t created one yet, click Create to generate a new tag.
- Copy the numeric Tag ID.

Step 2: Enable the Pixels Tracking Addon
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Analytify >> Addons.
- Find Pixels Tracking in the list and click Activate.

Step 3: Configure Microsoft Ads Tracking in Analytify
- Go to Analytify >> Settings and click the Tracking tab.
- Select Microsoft Ads from the platform dropdown menu.
- In the Microsoft Ads Tag ID field, paste the ID you copied from Microsoft Ads.
- Ensure there are no extra spaces and click Save Changes.

Step 4: Verify Tracking
Once saved, your UET tag will fire automatically for supported events, such as page views. To confirm it is working:
- Visit your website in a new window.
- Go back to Microsoft Advertising > Tools > UET tags.
- Check the UET tag status column; it should update to “Active” once traffic is detected.
What To Do Next?
- Automated Integration: Analytify handles the script placement across all pages, ensuring consistent tracking without theme file edits.
- Verification Tools: Use the “UET Tag Helper” Chrome extension to verify that the tag is firing correctly on the frontend.
