How To Track WS Forms with Analytify — Documentation page title
Track WS Forms using the Analytify Forms Tracking feature, which allows you to monitor exactly how users interact with your WS Forms.
By tracking both impressions and successful submissions in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), you can identify which forms are converting and which need optimization.
Getting started with WS Forms Tracking is straightforward with Analytify. This article covers everything from initial setup to validating your GA4 data.
Analytify WS Form Tracking (TOC):

Before you begin, ensure your setup includes:
- Analytify Pro: Installed and activated on your website.
- WS Form Plugin: Installed and active with at least one WS Form published.
- GA4 Connection: Your Google Analytics property must be connected under Analytify >> Settings.
Step 1: Enable WS Form Tracking

- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Analytify >> Settings.
- Click on the Forms Tracking tab and select Forms.
- Locate the WS Form option and toggle the switch to Enabled.
- Click Save Changes.

Step 2: Verify the Tracking
To confirm that your forms are sending data correctly, follow these steps:
- Open your website in an Incognito window.
- Navigate to the page containing your WS Form.
- Fill out and submit the form.
- Check your Google Analytics Realtime report:

- Confirm that a form_view event appears when the page loads.
- Confirm that a form_submission event appears after you click submit.
Step 3: Access WS Form Reports
You can analyze your form performance directly within the Analytify dashboard.
- Navigate to Analytify >> Dashboard.
- Click on the Conversions tab.
- Select Forms Tracking.

Key Metrics You Will See:
- Impressions: How many times the form was viewed.
- Submissions: The total number of successful conversions.
- Abandonment Rate: The percentage of users who started the form but did not finish.
- Abandonment Step: Specifically for multistep forms, this shows exactly where users dropped off.
- Conversion Rate: The percentage of users who converted and submitted the form.
Final Thoughts
- Automatic Detection: Analytify’s script handles all the technical work; you only need to ensure the form is published on a live page.
- Performance Insights: Use the conversion data to compare different WS Forms on your site and improve those with high abandonment rates.
