How to Setup JotForm Tracking with Analytify — Documentation page title
Analytify Pro helps you track JotForm forms as GA4 events and displays them directly in your dashboard.
This helps you measure lead performance for any JotForm embedded on your WordPress site without requiring manual event configuration.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to set up and track JotForm forms using the Analytify forms tracking add-on.
Track JotForm Forms (TOC):
Prerequisites
- Analytify Pro: Version 9.0+ installed and activated.
- GA4 Connection: Authenticated and active under Analytify > Settings.
- Embedded Forms: One or more JotForms published via embed code, plugin, or HTML block.
Step 1: Enable JotForm Tracking
- Go to Analytify >> Settings >> Tracking >> Forms.
- Locate JotForm in the list of supported forms.
- Toggle the switch to Enabled.
- Click Save Changes.

Step 2: Verify the Tracking
- Open a page with an embedded JotForm in an Incognito window.
- Fill out and submit the form.
- Confirm that the success message appears.
- Check Google Analytics >> DebugView or Realtime to see the submission event fire.

Step 3: View Your Reports
Navigate to Analytify >> Dashboard >> Conversions >> Forms Tracking to see:
- Impressions and Submissions: Total views vs. successful entries.
- Conversion Rate: The percentage of users who completed the form.
- Abandonment Rate: Insights into where users drop off before finishing.

Tips and Best Practices
- Test New Forms: Submit a test form for each new JotForm you embed to ensure the ID is recognized.
- Update on Changes: If you replace an embed code or change form IDs, submit a fresh test to refresh the tracking.
- Exclude Internal Traffic: Use the “Exclude Admins” setting in Analytify to ensure your tests do not skew conversion data.
How to Troubleshoot JotForm Tracking?
If your JotForm metrics aren’t appearing in your reports, follow these steps to verify your setup:
- Clear Cache: Purge your site and CDN cache before testing again.
- Check Settings: Verify that JotForm tracking is toggled Enabled and saved in Analytify settings.
- Console Check: Look for JavaScript errors in your browser console that might prevent tracking scripts from running.
- Sync Delay: Wait 30–60 minutes for GA4 data to sync with the Analytify dashboard.
